In-Salon consultation is a 15-30 minute service recommended for those who are seeking a colour change (e.g. from light to dark/ dark to light), and those with potentially compromised hair (i.e. damaged or permed or recent makeover). This is your opportunity to sit down with your stylist and go over your desired colour, your current home-care, and the time and money you will be spending for this. The cost of this “service” is $20, which will be added as credit to your deposit if you wish to make an appointment.
If we have not seen your hair in person,
· We are only able to roughly quote you, and then give a more approximate quote prior to the commencement of any services on the day of your appointment.· If we find that you need a major colour correction, we reserve the right to not perform any services on the day, and to rebook your appointment where we have a more appropriate amount of time allocated. Sometimes, inspirational images can be deceiving and a three hours job can end up being a six hour one. Deposits in that case will remain on your account and will be used on your new allocated appointment day. · If your hair is too damaged, we also reserve the right not to perform any services. We prefer not to compromise the integrity of your hair. Colour MakeoverFor personal reasons, colour corrections will not be performed on new clients. This sort of service is very demanding (assistance is required) and as a freelancer/lone worker, it is close to impossible to perform. Please feel free to enquire about it for more information. For clients who have come to the studio before, please consult with myself prior to appointment to avoid inappropriate time allocation. Conditions to performing services also do apply.Online Portal: You can use the online portal (click here) to book an appointment. You will need to enter card details in order to do so. No upfront payment will be taken at that time, but you will be charged if you fail to come to or cancel within 72hrs prior to your appointment. Waitlist is a great option if you cannot find a suitable time. We willl be notified of your attempt to book, and can try and shuffle things around in order to make it happen. So don't hesitate!!
NEW CLIENTS: After booking your appointment, we will be in touch via email/phone for a quick consultation to establish current colour and condition of the hair. A mandatory deposit will be secured before confirming your booking, made at the time of consultation. Your appointment will be cancelled if no deposit has been made in time. If you need to move your appointment, the credit will remain on your account to be used at your next service. Change of mind? Not a problem, so long as let us know at least 4 days before your appointment, we can refund you.
Deposit: After confirming the type of service we will perform, you will be asked to make a deposit of either $150 or $250 depending on service.
Booking confirmation: All bookings need to be confirmed prior to the day of your appointment. A confirmation text will be sent to you 96 to 72 hours prior to it. Please simply respond YES to confirm or NO to cancel. See "cancellation policy". Alternatively, you can call, text, or email me to reschedule your appointment (see Contact Details).
Any bookings that are left unconfirmed will be followed up by a phone call and email to confirm your appointment. After that, if we are still unable to get a hold of you, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment.
Confirmation texts will be sent a week prior to your appointment. Please respond at your earliest convenience to prevent last minute cancellation. Be mindful that other people may also want a spot and I would love for them to know as soon as possible if a spot has been made available for them (Thank you)
It is important that you please confirm your appointment when receiving the confirmation text. Failure to respond to this text may result in cancellation fees. In case of no show, or cancellation less than 72hours prior to your appointment, you will be chargedy 70% of the total of what your bill should have been, or lose your deposit, depending on the type of appointment you were booked for. For 3+ hour long appointments that are booked far in advance, we ask that you give us more than a week cancellation notice. It is your responsibility to write down your appointment accordingly. Failure to cancel early enough will result in a $200 cancellation fee. Unfortunately, there will be no exception.
SICKNESS: If you, or your child, are or have been feeling sick, the week before, or the week of your appointment, please give us immediate notice, so that we can alternate plans. Most people assume they will feel better by the time of their appointment. We would appreciate you not making assumptions that will cost you a cancellation fee from failing to notify us at the time when we can reschedule you, better yet, swap appointments around for those on the waitlist. Please let me know at your earliest convenience if you won't be able to make it to your appointment as we will always try and shift things around and help you out whenever possible to accommodate you.
Unfortunately, no further appointment will be made until fees are paid.
